Jumping in the rapids at Kirkham Hot Springs!

This was a good time that I had on a campout. This water was absolutely frigid, but it was really fun.

My Political Quiz

So I took this cool political quiz online. Its only like 6 questions, so I don't know that its completely comprehensive, but I turned out to be a Libertarian! Mercy. This whole time I thought I was leaning more to the right than anything. To be honest I don't know all that much about Libertarians, but I think I need to read into them a bit more. Here's the link to take the quiz if you're interested:

http://www.theadvocates.org/quiz.html

Here are my results:

ACCORDING TO YOUR ANSWERS,

The political group that
agrees with you most is...

LIBERTARIAN

LIBERTARIANS support maximum liberty in both personal and

economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one

that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence.

Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose

government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate

diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties.

The RED DOT on the Chart shows where you fit on the political map.

Your PERSONAL issues Score is 60%.
Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 80%.
(Please note: Scores falling on the Centrist border are counted as Centrist.)

Everybody should take it and let me know how they end up!

Trying to see if I can get these videos to work

This is Mitch Hedberg, absolutely hilarious!

Much ado

It has been awhile since I have written in this thing. I think I don't blog much because it feels too much like a journal which is one my weak points. I am terrible about writing in a journal. I need to find a common thread for this blog. Maybe it should be a finance one where I talk about general money...stuff? Maybe that would be boring? What is everybody's thoughts? Let me know.

School

I graduated from Boise State in December, and its nice not having to go to class and all but I feel like I'm missing something. Maybe I'm not busy enough...don't get me wrong I really like not having tests and homework to worry about. I just feel like something is wrong and that I should be going to class with Janell or something. Again, don't get me wrong I'm glad to be a college grad and have that in my past, but maybe I'm having post-collegiate not busy enough syndrome. Guess I better get back to work.

FIESTA BOWL CHAMPS!

You know, I have always been a fan of movies and TV shows that really get you into the storyline and really toy with your emotions...BUT I have never seen anything that played with my emotions like the Boise State/Oklahoma game. By the way, check out the sledge hammer number 37 is carrying. That thing is awesome.

The first quarter was incredible as a seeming Bronco blowout was in order. That blowout survived for a few quarters until Oklahoma finally got some wind under their sails.
I always felt that BSU was in the game, but my heart had been fluttering since about 4 that day. My heart sunk was Zabransky threw that interception, but I still had hope that they could pull it out, because I had seen it before...I just never saw that hook and lateral coming. When the lateral occurred I jumped out of my seat screaming like a mad man. When that play happened, I really knew that we were back in this game and overtime was going to be interesting. Up to that point we had only shown one trick formation and that play hadn't even gone off. I'm not going to recount the whole game, but it sufficeth to say that this was an emotional rollercoaster of a game and by far the best sports contest I have ever seen.
This game has put BSU on the map. The game was a teeter-totter battle and it proved that we can compete with whoever you put in front of us. Let's hope that this game will prove that the smaller "mid-major" conferences deserve to be represented in the bigger bowl games and even the national championships. I am rooting for Florida in the National Championship, I want there to be only one undefeated team left standing.
Congrats to Ian Johnson, what a great guy. I'd also like to see the BSU/BYU matchup sometime soon as well. These chants from my Cougar buddies are getting a bit annoying, haha. Congrats BSU, it makes me stand just a bit taller being a Boise State grad. Thanks for the ride Broncos, you have made us proud.
